Salon Policies

Our reception area is for clients who are being serviced only. There are no guests or children under13 allowed to wait in the salon unless they are being serviced.

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for services and products. Checks are not accepted as a form of payment.

We know that gratuity is a personal and private choice. Gratuities are welcomed via cash or cash app. If you are not sure how much to tip our professionals we suggest 20% of your total service cost.

If for any reason there was an error or mistake with a cut or color service ONLY, we will gladly adjust the cut or color within five (5) days of the original appointment at no additional charge, with the original stylist. If you would like to see a different stylist to adjust the cut or color, it will be considered a new fee-for-service appointment.

Each stylist at Salon on the Ave is professionally licensed and insured, and individually responsible for any hair damage due to chemical procedures. Please consult with your stylist prior to receiving any chemical service.

Products are non-refundable.

REFUSAL & RESPONSIBLITY POLICY:

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

We are not responsible for hair damage due to chemical and/or color procedures. Please

consult with your stylist.

We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles.

Please keep all valuable items with you during your service.

Please advise our staff of any allergies or sensitivities you may have.

Our employees work as a team. If for any reason you are uncomfortable with the service

provider you have reserved, another team member can be made available to you.

No pets are allowed in the salon.

COVID Guidelines

  • All clients who are not fully vaccinated must wear mask . If you do not have one, we will provide one for you.

  • Must book an appointment and have a credit card on file.

  • Contactless checkout only.

  • We will honor our cancellation and late policy.

  • Only guest allowed are those being serviced.

  • Every station and tool will be properly sanitized before and after each client.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided.

  • The salon will only allowed a certain amount of appointments. Please book ahead of time.

Cancellation Policy

 

Salon on the Ave understands that sometimes schedules change and therefore requests at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. A credit card and a deposit is required to hold your appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” will incur a charge of 100% of the service amount.

Late Policy

Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. If we do not hear from you 15 minutes into your scheduled appointment time it is considered a “No-Show” and your card will be charged for 100% of the service scheduled.
